    Project: Step 0
    In this project, learners build Step 0 in Problem Solving, Staying Positive and Teamwork as they consider: How could we set up a bakery? They work in teams to design, make and sell baked goods at their very own pop-up bakery.
  • Project: Step 0 to Step 1
    In this project, learners build Steps 0 and 1 in Listening, Staying Positive and Leadership as they consider: How can we spread joy? They explore the role of a delivery service in helping people to spread happiness. Learners form a delivery service of their own, delivering letters and parcels around their community.
  • Challenge Day: Step 0
    Over the course of the challenge, learners apply Step 0 in four of the eight essential skills as they consider: Who is the Sugar Snatcher? They apply Staying Positive and Aiming High to learn to be a police officer and explore some evidence and clues. Then, they apply Listening and Speaking to examine the crime scene before presenting to the class who they think committed the crime.

    Over the course of the challenge, learners apply Step 0 in four of the eight essential skills as they consider: How can we make it better for everyone? They apply Staying Positive and Aiming High to explore how everyone has different opinions, thoughts and ideas, and how they might use their opinions to make decisions. Then, they apply Listening and Speaking to decide on a set of policies to make their community better and persuade their peers to vote for their ideas, in an exciting election.

They apply Problem Solving and Creativity to research football and imagine a new sport of their own. Then, they apply Staying Positive and Aiming High to design a new sports kit and share their sport idea with the wider group.

They apply Listening and Speaking to research their local area and decide on a type of gift they will create that celebrates this place. They apply Aiming High and Staying Positive to create their gifts and present their ideas to the wider group.
